opened the command prompt

I just run the following command Node scripts\web-server.js in command prompt, see screenshot

can you show the content of your webserver.js file? Commented Oct 3, 2013 at 12:34
  • @Jayram added the web-server.js file Commented Oct 3, 2013 at 13:41
  • Did you copy some portion of the code from somewhere? Probably different encoding system. Try to make sure the quotes are all the same. Commented Oct 3, 2013 at 14:39

It is explained on angular-seed GitHub page, just scroll a little bit.

Install node.js, open cmd and run node scripts/web-server.js

Then navigate your browser to http://localhost:<port>/app/index.html to see the app running in your browser.
