I encountered the following issue in InstallShield 2016: I'm trying to use SUPPORTDIR to place my executable file there.

However, when I open the SUPPORTDIR folder (e.g., C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Local\Temp\{GUID}\), no file exists.

Does anyone know a solution?

  • Have you contacted the manufacturer's own customer support department for answers to this? If anyone - they should know ! Commented Jul 6 at 18:52
  • How you are using SUPPORTDIR? Is it predefined InstallShield SUPPORTDIR variable in installscript? Or Windows install SUPPORTDIR public property? Commented Jul 31 at 13:38
