I newly installed Jenkins. I am so bad at remembering passwords that I forgot what I gave as password [I was in an hurry and doing this parallelly]. So I turned to the web for solutions. No config.xml was in any path. [including (C:\Program Files\Jenkins) and (C:\Users(user)), no ".jenkins" was also found. I don't know how to reset. Please help me with this!

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still when I hit localhost:8080 it prompts for login.

I tried to get the config.xml for git repo online and paste it onto C:\Program Files\Jenkins (since .jenkins was not there) and proceeded that way - didn't work.
