/bin/bash: line 1: /tmp/.mount_cursor86DJYP/usr/share/cursor/bin/cursor: Permission denied

This is some kind of Alient Error i am getting while saving a file in the Cursor IDE.

NOTE : This is not my first time i am using Cursor , it has been several months !

For solutions , so far ( ai research + internet surfing) i tried the below things :

  1. sudo ./Cursor.AppImage
  2. sudo mount -o remount,exec /tmp
  3. chmod +x Cursor.AppImage

( all inside the bin/opt/cursor image directory )

Still no results !

  • Somebody help me in this *
