The following is my implementation of Selection Sort:

I noticed that my instructor codes it slightly differently:

for (int i = 0; i < a.length - 1; i++) {
min = i;
for (int j = i + 1; j < a.length; j++) {
if (a[j] < a[min]) {
min = j;
}
}
int temp = a[i];
a[i] = a[min];

Both implementations work. I'm curious as to what the difference here is. Is it efficiency?
