Java spring rest controller exception

Question

I write simple server-side file uploader code using java spring boot. Uploader works correctly, however firefox console displays very strange messages like this (after each sending chunk of file):

no element found

and some strange exception, listed only in browser and does not affect the execution of the uploader:

This is piese of server code:

   public void writeChunk() throws IOException
    {
        int chunkLength = request.getContentLength();
        byte[] buf =  new byte[chunkLength];// exception throws in this line

            //here some other code
    }
}

This Exception means that the allocate size of buffer is negative, however debug shows correct value of the allocation size ( 1048576 bytes) - chunkLength and other behaviour looks correct. What this mean?

What if you change writeChunk(HttpServletRequest request) and remove global request var? — gipinani

Look at javadoc of HttpServletRequest.getContentLength().

Returns the length, in bytes, of the request body and made available by the input stream, or -1 if the length is not known or is greater than integer's max value.
