Update Google Chrome

To make sure you're protected by the latest security updates, Google Chrome can automatically update when a new version of the browser is available on your device. Before you update, check if Chrome supports your operating system and you’ve met all the other system requirements.

Get a Chrome update when available

You can use Chrome with:
  • Android 10 and up
  • All languages supported by the Play Store

Chrome should automatically update based upon your Play Store settings. You can check if there's a new version available:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Store app Google Play.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & device.
  4. Under "Updates available," find Chrome Chrome.
  5. Next to Chrome, tap Update.

Tip: To find more info about Google Chrome:

  1. On your Android device, open Chrome Chrome.
  2. At the top right, tap More More and then Settings and then About Chrome.
