Dorothy, a Compassus hospice patient, shared how much she missed her sisters. What started as an idea for a FaceTime call turned into something extraordinary thanks to our team in Hamburg, PA. Discovering that her sisters lived nearby, we arranged a surprise in-person visit. Along with her two sisters, Dorothy's brother was able to join the family reunion. For the first time in two years, Dorothy embraced her sisters and after four years, her brother. The reunion was filled with joy, laughter and special touches like sister bracelets, coffee mugs and treats.
