Spellchecking settings in MacOs Teams app
The 'Manage spellchecking languages' setting doesn't seem to work. What ever languages I choose and add there (instructions say three is the maximum) does not take effect or stay added. When I go back to the setting there are no languages added, even though I have added them many times. Only way to change the spellchecking language seems to be to change the language of the app itself, which isn't very convenient as it requires app restart. Also there is no setting to disable the spellchecking. Teams app version: 25317.1601.4113.69677Views0likes0CommentsUnable to remove old account sing up form Teams on Mac OS
I cannot remove an old sing account from Teams on Mac OS. I have to delete the keychain, I delete the temp folder, and remove and reinstall Teams, and the old account is still there. I have a case open with the Microsoft team, and they cannot figure it out. Where is the login info store, and why has Microsoft not provided a solution where users can remove accounts as easily as they can add? Please help!29KViews2likes37CommentsNow in public preview: Automatic lowering of a user's Raised Hand after speaking
Description To reduce the number of stale raised hands in meetings, we now suggest users to lower their raised hand after we detect they spoke in the meeting. Hi all, I have a user that wants to integrate StarLeaf into one of his Microsoft Teams group. He is not the owner of the group. The issue he reported: "Currently, Starleaf for Teams is installed, but when there is any attempt to setup using the integration token generated from our systems admin in Starleaf, an error occurs." The link for instructions he used: https://support.starleaf.com/integrating/starleaf-for-microsoft-teams/#3-Install+StarLeaf+for One of the errors he gets: "Something went wrong. Reinstall StarLeaf for Teams." Any idea of what to do? Kind regards, Dino1.6KViews2likes7CommentsThe Chat Notification Badge That Won't Die
I know there's another thread on this, but literally none of those solutions worked, so I'm a starting a new thread. My chat notification won't go away. All of my chats are read. Here's everything I've done to fix this already (note- It's a corporate computer so I can't mess with the anti-virus): Signed out of the app every (desktop, web, phone) Restarted my computer Cleared the cache data from all 13 different locations Changed the setting to close the app when I shut down Closed it in the Task Manager Turned off all of my notifications Clicked on every chat I've received over the last week The only thing that seemed to maybe be the culprit was a very large company meeting and I was the last to leave. There was a lot of chat in that meeting, though I didn't participate in any of it. The reason I think this was when I went to log into to Teams from my browser, as I started to type "Microsoft Teams" I noticed in the suggested sites that there was a chat message from that meeting. So obviously I've left the meeting. I've deleted that chat. I've even left the teams channel that hosts those meetings. For what it's worth, I don't have any notifications on the phone app (android). It's just on the desktop and the web. Please, for the love of god, help. It's slowly driving me insane and I don't have the mental capacity to deal with anything else that makes me insane during quarantine. 🙂 *jk- I'm fine. It's a joke*154KViews4likes55CommentsTeams on macOS taking up CPU and lagging
I'm not sure if it's because of Tahoe, but Teams will take up 65-90% of my CPU during calls, while only using 0.1% when not on a call. This has been present in the dev betas, 26.0 and now 26.1. If I have other apps running, they or Teams can sometimes lag or glitch. Even with nothing else running, Teams can slow to a crawl.20Views0likes0CommentsPerformance Reviews with Microsoft owned app

We are working with Microsoft for some time (>100 days) on an issue regarding meeting invites in Teams, where the first time opening such an invite it is not showing conflicting or adjacent meetings. This can easily result in people getting "double booked" because they trust what Teams shows them. We can reproduce this anytime and in at least 3 tenants and I would like to know if other users/tenants recognize this. Some things to take into account: You shouldn't have opened the week this meeting is scheduled in earlier today, as it probably some sort of caching mechanism/issue. It only happens the first time you click on the RSVP option in teams. We tested with/without MCAS, same result. It also happens in a Teams browser session. How to reproduce: Send an invite for a meeting, to happen in e.g. 4 weeks, make sure there are conflicting/adjacent at that timespan. Wait for the invite to appear in the Teams activity (do not check it in Outlook, as that will make the test fail). When you click in the Teams on the invite, click on the RSVP option and check what you see (calendar is free it seems): Click the X to close this RSVP popup and click the RSVP again (now the other meetings are shown): I am really curious if other users can reproduce this.... I've encountered a problem since I started working in a new company, the exploratory license was assigned to me automatically, with which I could use MS Teams for 1 month, then the license expired and everybody in the company has Business Basic, which is assigned automatically (you can't assign it, manually where checkboxes are), ignorantly I thought that it would be assigned automatically, but it isn't, now i'm locked outside the teams. Apparently this Business Basic licenses that everybody uses are assigned to all in the company group, but I've checked with the boss who has admin rights and I am in that group and not as a guest or something but as an user, same as everyone else. So idk, how to solve this problem, if anyone on this forum has any ideas, because I'm out...12Views0likes0CommentsIssue with Teams Tab App

I'm on an MS365 personal account. I tried to add the "apps" to Teams. I've tried changing permissions, running it as administrator, and changing the settings. So, I find out "If the Apps button is missing, it may be due to policy settings or the user's account type. For instance, the button is not available for personal Microsoft Teams accounts. Users can try using the web version of Teams or check for updates to the desktop app." I tried the web version and it's not there either. No apps button. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled the Teams desktop app. Now, I'm prompted the Store couldn't open the app and directed me to go to the Start menu. I did. Teams does not show up. I can't use the desktop version at all. Why can't I reinstall Teams? How do I fix this? And why is MS not allowing the "Apps" function on personal accounts? Is there a workaround?Solved90Views0likes2CommentsHow can I See calendar of my team member in Microsoft Teams, as outlook?

When co-organizers were announced I was expecting (from what I read) that co-organizers will also be able to modify / edit meeting details (not te be confused with meeting options). Meaning the ability to Change the invitation / meeting title and text. Change the datetime of the meeting. Will this ever be available, is this in development or on the roadmap? Otherwise the whole co-organizer functionality is completely useless in my opinion and a really a pig in a poke w.r.t. to what Microsoft said / advertised it would deliver and what Microsoft actually delivered. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-co-organizers-to-a-meeting-in-teams-0de2c31c-8207-47ff-ae2a-fc1792d466e2 Another situation of ...33KViews7likes21CommentsBest survey tool for Microsoft Teams?
Because Forms isn't cutting it anymore! What would you recommend as the best employee survey tool to use inside Microsoft Teams. We definitely need a survey solution that functions inside Teams because the second our team has to open another app, survey completion rates drop fast. Forms was a simple rudimentary solution but now I think we need a more sophisticated tool with better anlytics.
