The gamification encourages submitting answers to blatant duplicates, not to find the canonical questions. Search engine output is also broken; on the whole they refuse (for whatever reason) to return the canonical questions from 2008 and 2009.

And attempts at requesting ChatGPT to provide references for a scientific research subject would often yield made up article titles. In this regard, it is worse than a search engine.
