Workflow

Welcome to the D98.co Workflow page.

I created this page for my own personal use. This is where I keep myself in check with staying productive. By listing all of my projects (big or small) in one place, I am able to remember all of the goals I have set to accomplish my content curation, website maintenance needs, and personal content consumption priorities. By placing timestamps, I’m able to see where I’m progressing forward, where I’m falling behind, and what I need to pick up the slack on.

This is a brand new page, and I have not yet had a chance to list all of my projects.

Big Focus Items:

Anna’s Archive:

Trying to digitize my book collection as much as possible. I discovered Anna’s Archive some time ago and I’m using it to find PDF replacements so that I can downsize the weight I’m carrying if I move again.

Goal: To download at least 5 PDF files daily… and this is a hard one to keep up with due to my schedule.

Completed In October 2025:
  • 2025-10-04-SAT-23:55-CST – 34 pdf files downloaded.
Completed In September 2025:
  • 2025-09-17-WED-13:26-CST – 19 pdf files downloaded.

Note: All draft files for Anna’s Archive have been moved from WWEBB Notes to D98 Notes.

Digital Art Painnt XXX:

I’m converting my xxx picture collection to digital filter art images in Painnt.

Goal: To produce at least 100 images weekly.

Completed In September 2025:
  • 2025-09-13-SAT-05:21-CST – POMPAI 001 – 0001 to 0100 art completed.
  • 2025-09-14-SUN-19:05-CST – POMPAI 001 – 0101 to 0200 art completed.

Download Top DJ Mixes (Formerly TrancePodcasts):

I am way behind on this from where I should be since I started a loooooong time ago – Downloading A State Of Trance (ASOT) podcasts by Armin Van Buuren at TopDJMixes. I highly recommend this website if you are into EDM/Trance music and like to listen to DJ’s play music sets.

Goal: To download at least 2 podcasts daily.

None downloaded recently. I’ve got to find my flash drive for this and put it on my home office desk.

Social Facebook Page Following:

Following pages for directory building.

Goal: To follow 10 pages daily.

Completed In September 2025:
  • 2025-09-16-TUE-23:30-CST – Followed 12

Transfer CD Lakeside Jams 2004:

This is a very important mp3 cd mix tape I made in 2004 that I have somehow kept possession of all these years. I need to find my external cd drive and copy the files to a flash drive, and put them on my Surface Pro 11 tablet, and my mp3 player. The cd is in my top dresser drawer in a ziplock bag.

Note: It may be possible that I have these files on an old hard drive, however I really don’t have time to search. So go the route for preservation given above.

Goal: To get this done as soon as possible.

Transfer Site Pages And Posts:

I am in process of moving content from my old websites to this one so that I can reduce the number of websites I own, and be able to manage my content in a central location.

Goal: To transfer at least 1 page or post per weekend.

NOTES – Light Workflow:

I recently bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 11 tablet/laptop. I got the full set up with pen and keyboard. It is a great setup to have and to carry when I don’t want to haul my full work station computer bag which weighs a ton. My Surface Pro 11 is not configured to do all of the things I can do on my full work station. I am in process of arranging my workflow so that I only have to carry my Surface Pro 11 on week days (Mon – Fri), and I am basically in discovery mode to figure out what are all of the things I can do with it and not need to carry my flash drives. That means figuring out what I can do that can be saved in the cloud to be managed when I have my full work station.

Below is a look at some other content that may interest you (under construction at the moment).

Lemmy:

Lemmy is an open-source, self-hostable link aggregation and discussion platform, similar to Reddit or Hacker News, but operating on a decentralized network called the Fediverse. Users can subscribe to “communities” (similar to subreddits) on different servers, or “instances,” and interact with users and communities across the entire network using the ActivityPub protocol. This decentralized model offers alternatives to centralized social media by promoting user control, data ownership, and community autonomy.

I recently discovered Lemmy, and although I haven’t signed up for an account there yet, I have been checking in on some of the discussions that seemed interesting enough to follow, or that may offer some useful resources. Below is a list of some of the topics I check in on from time to time.

Currently In Progress:

As of: 2025-10-05-SUN-15:10-CST – I’m having a busy weekend. I’m working on replacing some of my old hardcover books with pdf file replacements from Anna’s Archive. Yeah, I know pdf in place of real books. I hate it, but I’m in a position where I have to offload some baggage and weight. I never know when I’m going to have to get up and move somewhere again. The last move was hell with all the shit I’ve been hoarding for years lol. I don’t want to do that again.

Disclaimers:

Some things to note about the content I post on this website. Also these disclaimers will eventually be moved to a more appropriate page at some point in the future.

Horoscopes Disclaimer:

I enjoy checking the horoscopes and posting my comments about them. I don’t really take the horoscopes too serious. Mostly I read them out of curiosity to see if anything corresponds to events happening in my life. I am also not “religious”, nor “atheist”. I value that I have the ability to listen to spiritual-based teachings without getting caught up in the “thou better do this shit or else because god said so” way of thinking. I also value that I can learn, and dare I say, at times be guided in life some way, or inspired by the horoscopes to frame my choices and thought patterns a certain way. In the end, it all comes down to karma for me, and I choose to be guided by me, and me alone… not someone else’s idea of who or what I’m supposed to be, or how I’m supposed to act, based on their beliefs.

Information Disclaimer:

All information provided on this website is provided as is. Every effort for accuracy is a top priority, however this depends on the sources where information is curated from. D98.co is not responsible for any unintended inaccuracies.

Product Links:

I share a lot of product links on this website, primarily from Amazon. It should be noted that I am not affiliated with Amazon, nor any other retail outlet, and I do not receive any compensation for sharing product links. I simply enjoy sharing product links for things I have either bought and enjoyed myself, or would consider buying, or simply sharing for the spirit of sharing products that someone else may find useful.

Lemmy:

I’ve been checking out Lemmy.ml frequently lately. It’s my understanding that it is a federated version of Reddit. I’ve seen some interesting and informative topics posted there that people are discussing. I am now listing them for resource value.

NOTE: This section of the site is starting to look like it could use it’s own dedicated page, or perhaps even it’s own directory on the blog. I haven’t decided which direction to go for this, but I am looking at moving this content to a more appropriate place at some point in the future since I keep coming back to it.

ANOTHER NOTE: There is another site similar to Lemmy called PieFed I’m gonna have to check out. I should actually I will have to check it out in more depth to see if it’s worth adding to my content curation workflow… and I think it would be. I’ve glanced over it and found this post about a website that generates a bookshelf image based off of your Goodreads account. It never hurts to have multiple sources to curate content from. Also I’m considering to set up a new Reddit account as well.
