Sulzer, in collaboration with House of Winterthur, recently hosted a Tech-Lunch that brought together more than 40 leaders and professionals. The event was opened by our Executive Chairwoman, Suzanne Thoma and Jakob Bächtold, Managing Director of House of Winterthur. They welcomed participants and introduced InTecH (Innovation and Technology Hub) in Winterthur-Töss, inaugurated in June 2025.   During the event, guests had the opportunity to discover the state-of-the-art hub dedicated to advancing biopolymer engineering and developing sustainable technologies. NEXT GEN INNOVATORS Yesterday, we welcomed around 30 curious and energetic kids to our site in Oberwinterthur for Switzerland’s Zukunftstag. Together with our colleagues, the children explored our test laboratory, tried hands‑on experiments and discovered the possibilities of 3D printing-sparking lots of excitement and interest. At Sulzer, we believe in nurturing curiosity and turning ideas into impact. Days like Future Day show how important it is to give young people room to explore, ask questions and experience engineering up close. 🤝 Driving Brazil’s biofuel growth with Inpasa Sulzer has been chosen by Inpasa, one of Latin America’s leading bioenergy producers, as the primary supplier of process pumps and agitators for its latest industrial expansion in Brazil. This collaboration supports the construction of new biofuel plants and upgrades to existing facilities, reinforcing Inpasa’s role in sustainable energy production. The agreement includes more than 600 pieces of advanced equipment for ethanol, DDGS, corn oil, and renewable energy facilities, starting installation in early 2026. By 2027, Inpasa’s processing capacity will reach 16 million tonnes annually. Feierabend is a German word that signifies the end of work and literally translates to a celebratory evening. 📷 After work around year 1900, Zürcherstrasse in Winterthur was filled with Sulzer employees streaming out of the machine factory. Many of them stayed at Sulzer for decades or even their entire working lives.
