Good morning, I'm working on a project for interfacing the arduinoArduino with the raspberry piRaspberry Pi. I need to be able to exchange serial data between the two using the usbUSB port.

My question is, can iI do that while having the arduinoArduino powered on, by using a 9v9 V battery connected to the DC pin and at the same time have serial data connection using the usbUSB port.?
